EURO LANGUAGES NET is designed
to create Internet resource of less widely used European languages for
general public. Because of the global nature of Internet, information
presented on this network will be accessible to the world.
11 national sites have been launched recently. The sites will
provide information about where in Europe general public can learn less
widely used European languages including FI, IT, PO, BG, EE, HU, PL, RO,
LT, SK, DE.
High quality best practices, language learning and teaching resources
as well as new language learning programmes, will be provided on www.euro-languages.net.
The project will raise awareness of learning other languages in terms
of employability, mental stimulation and social interaction. It opens
new possibilities for disabled learners, and those who are not able
to attend classes in person because of geographical constrains.
The Slovak national coordinator is the E – KU Institute for Language
and Intercultural Communication in Nitra. The Slovak republic and
the Slovak language are presented on www.euro-languages.net/slovakia
